The Tribal 2.5 GHz Spectrum Opportunity:

In 2020, 320 Tribal Nations were awarded licenses to the 2.5 GHz spectrum, one of the largest allocations of wireless spectrum ever granted directly to Indigenous communities.

However, this opportunity comes with a deadline. Many Tribal license holders must demonstrate deployment by October 2026 or risk losing access to the spectrum. If that happens, the spectrum can revert to the FCC and may be auctioned to commercial carriers.
